You can add a relative's name to your Aadhaar card by visiting the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra or enrolment centre. Submit supporting documents like proof of relationship (marriage certificate, birth certificate, passport, etc.) and request an update through the Aadhaar Update Form.
Currently, you can only update demographic details like address, date of birth, gender, and language online. For relative name addition in Aadhaar, you must visit an Aadhaar enrolment centre with original documents.
Once you submit your request, the update usually takes 7 to 15 working days. You can check the status on the UIDAI portal using your URN (Update Request Number).

The most crucial document is a valid Proof of Relationship (PoR). This document must show the relationship between you and the person whose name you are adding. Accepted PoR documents include: For a spouse's name: A government-issued Marriage Certificate or your Passport with the spouse's name.
