UIDAI allows gender correction or change only once in a lifetime. Any further modifications can only be approved through a special exception process at a UIDAI Regional Office.
It usually takes around 5–10 working days for the updated gender information to reflect in your Aadhaar database. You can track the update status using your Update Request Number (URN) on the UIDAI website.
