You can update or link your mobile number to your Voter ID through the NVSP portal by submitting Form 8 online, or by visiting your nearest Electoral Registration Office (ERO).
You’ll need a valid ID proof, your existing Voter ID number, and access to your current mobile number for OTP verification during the update process.
If your previous mobile number is not active, you can still update your new number by verifying your identity with a valid photo ID and proof of address at the ERO office.
After submission, it usually takes 2–3 weeks for your updated mobile number to reflect in the Election Commission database.
